What exactly gets converted from my ODP file?

What does NOT survive the conversion?

Custom animations, slide transitions, gradient or pattern fills, embedded charts, and OLE objects (like an embedded spreadsheet) are ODP-specific or complex constructs without a clean, guaranteed PPTX equivalent. Presentations built heavily around Impress's animation timeline are the case most likely to need manual touch-up afterward.

Will fonts look the same after opening in PowerPoint?

If the fonts used in your ODP are also installed on the computer opening the PPTX, yes, they display identically. If you used a font specific to your LibreOffice installation that PowerPoint doesn't have access to, PowerPoint substitutes its own fallback, which can shift text wrapping slightly.

What is ODP to PPTX?
