If my workbook has several tabs, do I get one image or several?

Each worksheet tab is rendered as its own separate JPG image, named after the sheet. A three-tab workbook produces three downloadable images, not one combined picture.

Do formulas show up as formulas or as their results?

Only the calculated result of each formula cell is drawn into the image — the same value you'd see displayed in Excel itself. The underlying formula expression is never shown, since the output is a flat picture with no concept of a cell's formula.

What happens to charts, embedded images, or conditional formatting icons already in my spreadsheet?

None of those are rendered — the conversion only reads and draws the plain cell data (text and numeric values). If your sheet's value comes primarily from an embedded chart rather than the underlying numbers, a screenshot of Excel itself would capture that chart where this tool cannot.

My sheet has 20+ columns — will everything fit in one image?

Columns are auto-sized based on their content up to a sensible maximum width, and the full width of the sheet is rendered regardless of how wide that makes the final image. Individual cell values that are extremely long are truncated with an ellipsis (…) to keep columns from becoming unreasonably wide.

Is there a limit on how many rows can be converted?

There's no hard cap, but a sheet with several thousand rows will produce a correspondingly tall image — practical for archiving, less practical for pasting directly into a slide, where you'd likely want to trim the sheet to just the relevant rows before converting.

Can I choose JPG quality or file size?

The output uses a high-quality JPEG setting tuned for text legibility rather than aggressive compression, since spreadsheet screenshots are typically shared for their readability rather than needing to be as small as possible.

Why would someone need this instead of just Excel to PDF?

PDF is the right choice for a printable, paginated multi-page document.
