PDF to PowerPoint converts a static, page-based PDF into a presentation that opens like any other .pptx file — one slide per PDF page, sized and oriented to match the source exactly. Rather than guessing at paragraph structures, text boxes, and shape hierarchies that were never actually encoded in the PDF, this tool renders each page at high resolution and places that rendering on its own slide, so the deck looks identical to the source document the instant it opens.
The reason for this approach comes down to how a PDF actually stores content. A PDF page is a flat collection of positioned glyphs, image objects, and vector paths — it has no concept of a "text box" or a "bullet list" the way PowerPoint does internally. Converters that promise fully editable text from any PDF have to reverse-engineer that missing structure: guessing where one paragraph ends and another begins, which font a subsetted glyph outline actually maps to, and which shapes belong grouped together. That guesswork is exactly where most PDF-to-PPTX converters produce broken line breaks, text boxes that overlap or drift off the slide, substituted fonts, and layouts that no longer resemble the original. This tool sidesteps that guesswork entirely by preserving each page as a faithful visual rendering.
Slide dimensions are read from the source PDF, so an A4 report becomes an A4-shaped slide and a US Letter document becomes a Letter-shaped slide instead of being forced into a default 4:3 or 16:9 template that stretches content or leaves black bars around it. Portrait and landscape pages are both handled correctly, which matters for scanned documents, exported posters, infographics, and slide decks that were themselves flattened to PDF at some point in their life.
Once the .pptx file downloads, you can drop the resulting slides into a larger deck, add a new title slide in front of them, record narration over each one using PowerPoint's built-in recorder, or use PowerPoint's presenter view to walk an audience through PDF content without ever opening a PDF viewer in the room. If your real goal is to retype or reflow the underlying text rather than just view and present it, plan on doing light editing directly inside PowerPoint afterward, or work from the original source file if one still exists.
Each page of the uploaded PDF is rendered in your browser to an off-screen canvas at 1280px resolution using pdf.js, then exported as a JPEG. A new .pptx file is assembled with pptxgenjs, one slide per rendered page, with slide width and height set in inches to match the source PDF page dimensions so nothing gets stretched, cropped, or padded with unexpected margins. Text, images, vector shapes, and any embedded fonts on the original page are all captured together in a single rendered image per slide, which is what guarantees the output looks like the source rather than a re-interpreted approximation of it. The finished file is a standard Office Open XML presentation that opens natively in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, and LibreOffice Impress — no plugin or file repair step required on the other end.
Upload your PDF
Drop a PDF onto the upload area or browse to select one. The tool reads the page count immediately so you can confirm the right file loaded.
Check the page count
The number of pages shown next to your file name tells you exactly how many slides the finished PPTX will contain — one per page, in the original order.
Start the conversion
Click "Convert to PPTX". Each page is rendered to a high-resolution image and placed on its own correctly-sized slide.
Wait for rendering to finish
A progress indicator tracks the conversion. Larger or longer PDFs take proportionally more time since every page is processed individually.
Download the PPTX file
Once complete, the presentation downloads automatically to your device, ready to open in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or LibreOffice Impress.
Present, annotate, or extend the deck
Add a title slide, layer speaker notes or animations over the existing slides, or drop the converted slides into a larger presentation you're already building.
Revive Archived Presentations
Convert a PDF version of an old presentation back into PPTX slides so it can be updated, restyled, and re-delivered without hunting for the original file.
Conference Papers & Posters
Turn a conference paper, research poster, or whitepaper PDF into a slide-by-slide deck for presenting the same material to a live audience.
Classroom Lecture Slides
Convert a textbook chapter or handout PDF into PowerPoint slides an educator can display, annotate live, and click through during a lesson.
Client Proposal Walkthroughs
Open a PDF proposal received from a vendor or agency as a slide deck so it can be presented page by page in a meeting instead of scrolled through.
Screen-Optimised Delivery
Convert a PDF report to PPTX so it can be driven through PowerPoint's presenter view and remote-clicker controls instead of a PDF viewer's scroll bar.
Voiceover & Video Recording
Import the PPTX into PowerPoint's recording tool or a screen-recording app to narrate over each page and export the result as a video.
Pixel-Perfect Slide Rendering
Each PDF page is rendered at 1280px resolution and embedded as a single high-quality image on its slide, so the layout is never reinterpreted or approximated.
Correct Slide Dimensions
Slide width and height match the original PDF page size — A4, US Letter, or a custom size — so there are no stretched images or awkward black borders around the content.
Every Page Becomes a Slide
All pages in the PDF convert automatically, in their original order, with no manual copy-pasting or one-by-one processing needed.
Standard PPTX Output
The output is a proper Office Open XML .pptx file, opening natively in PowerPoint, Google Slides, and LibreOffice Impress without conversion warnings.
No Software Installation
There is nothing to install and no PDF editor subscription required — open a browser tab and convert.
No Artificial Page Limit
Short handouts and long, multi-chapter PDFs both convert the same way, without an arbitrary cap on the number of slides produced.
