HTML to PDF turns any web page markup — an invoice template built in HTML, a saved copy of a web article, an internal report generated by a CMS, or hand-written HTML you paste directly — into a fixed, archivable PDF, using the same rendering engine your browser already uses to display any webpage on screen. Rather than trying to approximate how a browser would render your CSS and fonts through a separate server-side conversion service (which frequently gets font kerning, flexbox layouts, or print media queries slightly wrong), this tool hands the job to your actual browser's built-in print-to-PDF engine — the same one behind Chrome's "Print" button — so what you see in the live preview is, pixel for pixel, what ends up in the PDF.
This is the tool for a specific kind of job: archiving something that currently only exists as HTML before it changes or disappears (a web page, an email newsletter, a generated report from an internal tool), or taking a hand-built HTML template — an invoice, a certificate, a one-page contract — and turning it into the kind of static, shareable document that PDF is universally expected to be. Because it runs through your browser's native print pipeline rather than a headless server-side renderer, there's no rendering engine mismatch to worry about: whatever fonts, table borders, and background colors show correctly on your screen in the live preview will show identically in the saved PDF.
HTML documents are inherently reflowable — no fixed page boundaries, no page count, content that just keeps scrolling. Converting to PDF forces a decision about page size, margins, and where content breaks across pages, which is exactly what the layout controls in this tool let you set before you commit to the final output.
Paste your HTML directly or upload a .html file, and a live preview iframe renders it instantly using your browser's own layout engine — the exact same one that renders any website you visit. Choose a page size (A4, Letter, A3, or Legal), orientation, and margin preset, and the preview updates immediately to simulate how content will break across pages. When you click Convert to PDF, the finished HTML (with your chosen @page CSS rules injected) is sent to your browser's native print function, which opens the standard print dialog — selecting "Save as PDF" as the destination (the default option in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, and available in Safari's print panel) produces the final file with no server involved at any point.
