Add video files to merge
Up to 5 videos — MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, WebM
Joining video files together sounds like it should just mean sticking two files end to end, but the underlying codec details decide whether that is fast and lossless or slow and lossy. This tool uses FFmpeg's concat demuxer, which works by writing a plain text list of your input files and asking FFmpeg to copy their existing video and audio streams directly into one continuous output — no decoding, no re-encoding, no quality loss, as long as every clip shares the same codec, resolution, frame rate, and audio format. This is exactly how professional NLEs handle "smart" concatenation internally, and it is why merging five clips that all came from the same phone or camera typically finishes in a couple of seconds regardless of their combined length.
The catch is that stream-copy concatenation is unforgiving about mismatches. If one clip is 1920x1080 at 30fps with AAC audio and another is 1280x720 at 24fps with a different audio codec, a pure stream copy will either fail outright or produce a file where playback glitches, freezes, or drops audio sync at the point the clips join. This tool merges up to five videos in the exact order you arrange them, and works best when all the source clips originate from the same device or export settings — the more consistent the inputs, the more reliable the seamless join.
Each uploaded file is written into FFmpeg's virtual filesystem, and a plain text manifest listing them in your chosen order is generated automatically. FFmpeg's concat demuxer (-f concat) then reads that manifest and uses stream copy (-c copy) to append the video and audio data from each file directly onto the next, without decoding a single frame when the codecs and formats match. This is dramatically faster than a re-encoding merge and preserves the original quality of every clip exactly, but it depends on the input files being encoded compatibly with each other.
Upload your videos
Drop two to five video files onto the upload area, or click to browse and select multiple files at once.
Review the file list
Each added clip appears in a numbered list showing its filename and size, in the order it was added.
Reorder with the arrow buttons
Use the up and down arrow icons next to each clip to move it earlier or later in the merge order.
Check codec compatibility
For a clean, lossless merge, use clips with matching resolution, frame rate, and audio codec — ideally footage from the same device or export.
Remove any clip you don't want
Click the X icon on a clip to drop it from the list before merging, without needing to start over.
Click Merge Videos
FFmpeg's concat demuxer stream-copies each clip's video and audio directly into one continuous MP4 file.
Download the merged file
Save the combined MP4 to your device. Your original clips remain untouched and available individually.
Video Compilations
Join multiple clips together into a single highlights reel or compilation video.
Course Assembly
Combine separately recorded lecture segments into one continuous course video.
Event Recap
Merge footage from different cameras or attendees into a single event recap video.

100% Private
FFmpeg WebAssembly joins videos entirely in your browser — no clip is ever uploaded to a server.
Up to 5 Videos
Combine up to five separate video files into one seamless output in a single operation.
Stream Copy (No Quality Loss)
The concat demuxer copies video and audio streams without re-encoding, preserving original quality.
Custom Order
Reorder clips using the up/down arrows before merging so the final video plays in exactly the sequence you want.
MP4 Output
The merged result is saved as an MP4 file compatible with every modern device and media player.
